What to have on mind when traveling

• Keep always your social distance at least 1.5 m.

• The mask is mandatory all the time when you are outside.
• If you are feeling sick avoid to move long distances or moving from where you are and notify to the person on charge.
• Travel safe
• Take care of your health and protect others by washing your hands frequently.
• Remember to use your elbow or Kleenex to cover your nose and mouth when sneezing or coughing.
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth when you are touching other surfaces.
• Avoid any direct contact with people who is having respiratory problems, instead try to call to emergency and let experts do their work!

What to expect when traveling to Belize

Belizeans are required to do and to have on mind when going out. Some of the important things your need to know are:

• You are required to wear a mask all the time when you are out of your room hotel. Any building you head your temperature will be measured and antibacterial gel will be applied to your hands.
• You are not allow to get together with more than 10 people
• You are not allow to do any activity that requires physical contact.
• Do not greet people by cheek kissing or hand shaking.
• Introduction of a “Tourism Gold Standard” Recognition Program for hotels, restaurants and tour operators. This 9-point program seeks to enhance the tourism industry’s health and safety standards by adapting new behaviours and procedures to ensure both employees and travellers are confident in the cleanliness and safety of Belize’s tourism product

• Online check-in/out, contactless payment systems, and automated ordering/booking systems
• Hand sanitizing stations across the property
• Enhanced room cleaning and increase sanitization of public spaces and high touch surfaces
• Daily health checks for guests and employees
• Designated ‘Isolation/Quarantine rooms’ for suspected Covid-19 cases and action plans for handling suspected employees or guests.
• Restaurants
• - The personal of the restaurant is equipped with mask and facial protector.
• - Temperature is measured at the entrance and antibacterial gel is applied in the hands.
• - Shoes disinfection when entering to the place.
• - Some restaurants have a digital menu (with QR Code).
• - Restaurants are operating only with the 50% of capacity, so is possible that you need to make a reservation ahead of time.
• - If the restaurant has childish games is possible these are out of service.
• - Have on mind, that you are allow to take off the mask only when food is served.
