Guatemala has reopened the Guatemala City airport and land borders for tourists since September 18th, 2020. Guatemalans are more than excited to received visitants from all over the world again, and for that they have taken all the Health measurements to guarantee the safety and enjoyment of your trip.

To travel to Guatemala by the Guatemala City airport – La aurora, it is mandatory to bring your PCR Covid-19 test, without this you cannot enter to the country and probably not allow to board the plane. The covid-19 test has to be with no more than 72 hours from your trip.

The Guatemala City airport has reopened since September 18th, 2020 for all tourist who desired to come to Guatemala. When you enter to the vehicle you need to clean your shoes at the disinfection carpet, you have to respect the seats where you are allowed to seat and keep your social distancing. You´ll be given antibacterial gel when boarding as well the vehicle. Also, your luggage will be disinfected. Have in mind that you are not allow to eat any type of food or snack during the trip.
